Mr. Bussone is ONLY licensed to practice law in California. He presently may appear before all courts of the State of California (including the California Supreme Court), as well as before the United States District Court for the Central District of California (on the federal level). Any matters to be litigated outside of the State of California would require Mr. Bussone to obtain admission to, or permission of, that other court or jurisdiction, probably on a pro-hac-vice basis (i.e., "for this case only"), if at all, and only in extraordinary circumstances, and also would require the retention of other local counsel. You would be better served by consulting with an attorney in that other jurisdiction first, BEFORE contacting Mr. Bussone.
This website is intended to provide general information only. It is not meant to be, nor shall it be construed as, a source of legal advice or opinion of any nature or kind whatsoever. You should NEVER act upon general information on any legal matter without seeking legal counsel in the State to which your matter relates.
Although this website may be deemed by some authorities in some jurisdictions outside California to be an advertisement for legal services, this website is not meant to be, nor shall it be construed as, a solicitation for legal services in any particular matter, or as an invitation to establish an attorney-client relationship as to any particular matter. The ONLY way to establish an attorney-client relationship with Mr. Bussone is by specific written agreement between himself and the client, signed by both parties. If Mr. Bussone cannot handle your legal matter for any reason whatsoever, he will endeavor to refer you to another attorney or referral agency who may be of assistance to you.
Although anything you convey to Mr. Bussone, either orally or in writing, will be held in the strictest confidence, please do not provide any sensitive or confidential information to Mr. Bussone, whether through e-mail or otherwise, unless and until an attorney-client relationship is clearly established and confirmed in writing. Please also be aware that the duties of confidentiality and the attorney-client privilege may not even arise until Mr. Bussone has expressly undertaken a particular client engagement.
